The V International Fair "Education in Russia. Study Abroad" has had a great success in Samara and Ulyanovsk, where it was held on March 31 – April 2 to show the opportunities of the International education market to the people of the Volga region.

Every year the Volga region becomes a more and more attractive place to host the major Russian and International Fairs and Exhibitions. Therefore, exponent companies always respond with great pleasure to the invitation to participate in the Exhibitions held by OPTIMA EXPO.

This time, the event was attended by representatives of more than 30 leading universities, colleges, schools and language centers of the UK, Germany, Spain, Canada, Cyprus, Russia, the USA, Turkey, France, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ksenia Ivanenko, Coordinator of the State Program "Global Education"; Liliya Galuzina, Head of the Department of Education of the Samara Administration; Vladimir Egorov, Director of the International Business School of the Samara State Aerospace University, CEO of the Directors' Club of the Samara region; Valeri Fomichev, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Samara region; Pavel Antipov, General Director of OPTIMA STUDY Group of comapnies; Leonid Antipov, Marketing Director of OPTIMA STUDY Group of companies, Manager of the Project "Education in Russia. Study Abroad".


In two days the Fair was attended by over 2,500 people; there were schoolchildren and their parents, students and young professionals and everyone interested in various aspects of International education. Vice-principals for International relations, the heads of the International departments of the Universities, specialists and recent graduates of the Russian Universities took an active part in the meeting with Ksenia Ivanenko, Coordinator of the State Program "Global Education". Speaker of the Moscow School of Management "Skolkovo" told the audience in detail about the peculiarities of the unique program allowing to study in the leading foreign educational institutions at the expense of the state.


Another actual topic of the business program of the Fair was the export of the educational services. Sergei Krasnyanski, CIS Director of the International Educational Company ICEF, spoke about the particular strategies to attract foreign students tothe Russian universities.


The heads of various educational institutions took a great interest in the seminar "Experience of development and implementation of innovative multimedia technologies and solutions in the sphere of education" held by Evgeni Kaganov, General Director of LLC "Kraft-Region".

Thousands of residents of the Samara region and neighboring regions obtained the detailed and reliable information about various foreign and Russian educational institutions, enrolment and study conditions, career opportunities for the graduates. The Fair became an excellent platform for establishing business contacts and sharing experiences between Russian and foreign colleagues.


The International Educational Centre "OPTIMASTUDY" and the partner companies EC English Language Centres and Am Language Studio held a giveaway of the certificates for free two-week English courses. Natalia Bilenchenko (Samara) and Marina Artemova (Ulyanovsk) became the winners.


The exhibition organizers are grateful for assistance in event organization to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Samara region, the Department of Education of the Samara Administration, the Ministry of Science and Education of theUlyanovsk region, the Department of Education of the Ulyanovsk Administration, the Chamber of Commerce of the Samara region, the Association of Russian Educational Advisors (AREA) and the strategic partners – "International Education and Career" Magazine and the Media Corporation "RUs TV".

The next Fair "Education in Russia. Study Abroad" will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan, in the city Kazan, on October 23-24, 2015. Welcome to participate!
